MEET JUDGE BUCK LEVINS

Buck Levins has spent his entire career protecting Georgia families and strengthening the communities he calls home. After years as a prosecutor defending our families from crime, Governor Brian Kemp appointed Buck to the Superior Court of the Enotah Judicial Circuit in March 2020. For the past six years, he’s served the people of Lumpkin, Towns, Union, and White Counties with integrity, fairness, and a deep respect for the law.

Buck knows that fairness matters and that judges should be like baseball umpires — call fair balls and strikes, treat everyone the same, and keep the playing field level. As judge, Buck Levins follows the law and the Constitution in every case, regardless of personal views.

Buck has continued to strengthen our community through his leadership in the Accountability Courts. He currently presides over the North Enotah Drug Court and the Parental Accountability Court, helping individuals break cycles of addiction, rebuild stability, and take responsibility for their families. His work reflects a belief that justice can hold people accountable while also giving them a path forward to reunite families and restore legacies.

Before joining the bench, Buck built a long record as a prosecutor, handling some of the region’s most serious cases. He led major felony prosecutions, worked closely with law enforcement, and earned a reputation for being prepared, principled, and committed to doing what’s right. He's walked with our families through our toughest moments, and he brings that experience and compassion to the bench.

A proud Double Dawg, Buck earned both his bachelor’s degree and his law degree at UGA. He has dedicated his life to public service, leadership, and the pursuit of justice. He is guided by faith and family. He and his wife, Jaime, are raising their two children, Thomas and Caroline, with the same values seen in his work on the bench — integrity, compassion, and service to others.
